I had 4 laser hair removal sessions at Restore Skin 3 with the deka alexandrite and one with candela gentle yag.While I consistently experienced shedding after treatments, I did not see meaningful long-term reduction. The hair would shed and then regrow at similar density, which suggests the treatment energy may not have been sufficient for permanent follicle reduction.I know how laser works. I have had laser before on my legs. It has been 7 years and I still don’t have hair without any top ups. I also had laser on my face there and had 70% reduction which is great for the face because the face has fine hair.I understand safety is important, but in my case the settings felt quite conservative, especially for back hair which typically requires higher effective energy. I have asked them to increase the fluence but when i saw it the fluence was still low. After multiple sessions, I expected to see results but they are quite minimal as regrowth proves it is not reaching destruction threshold.
